Nice and solid, but the aperture really needs to be bigger, somewhere in the 0.18 inch range instead of 0.12. As it is, most of the area inside the hood of my Norinco is occluded. With a larger aperture you’d get something between a ghost ring and an HK sight…

Quality throughout. Fits perfectly and has perfect peep hole size for my sight picture.
While sighting through the peephole the diameter matches the diameter of the front sight rounded part of the guard. Center that and center the post within the circle and it is good to go.

I bought one of these about 2 years ago or so. It makes for a wonderful upgrade from the original sight. A bit of a pain to take the rest of the hardware off your original sight to put it on the new one, so if you can, get the slide portion of the sight from a surplus store if you can and keep your original sight intact.

Forgot to say in my review. I so wish they made this for a mauser as well. I’d buy one in a hearbeat.
